What we fund
The Caerlow Trust funds a variety of organisations, ranging from established registered charities to more recently set up organisations and smaller charities. Moving forward, we intend to explore other funding mechanisms and are keen to provide more transformational funding to community and user-led organisations.

Homelessness
Supporting organisations who work to prevent or alleviate homelessness.

Hunger
Supporting charities providing access to food for those in poverty.

Addiction
Funding charities who support those affected by addiction.

Women
Funding projects supporting women across our three core areas.
Who we fund
The Trust will support charities working across the UK. Based in London, the Trust is keen to support local organisations but is not restricted to place-based funding.
Our grants will initially be directed towards established registered charities. Moving forward we intend to explore other funding mechanisms and are keen to provide transformational funding to smaller organisations and start-ups with great people, ideas and ambitions.
What we fund
We understand the value of unrestricted funding to charities and commit to making grants unrestricted as our default position. We also know the importance of financial stability and seek to develop close partnerships with the organisations we make grants to and support them financially over a number of years where possible.
The value and duration of each grant will depend on the size, complexity and need of the organisation being funded. After an initial one-year grant, we would consider a further two to four years of funding.
We appreciate that systemic change is most likely to happen through research, campaigning and advocacy work and appreciate organisations working in this space, however it is our preference to support front line services delivering support directly to people in need.
